Description:
Our client, based in Midleton, requires a maintenance technician/ fitter to assist with the running of the manufacturing facility. This is a days only role, with call out requirements. A generous hourly rate + overtime and call out.You will be doing both mechanical and electrical maintenance on state of the art machines.
You will be joining an establishedand continuously growing company that produces a recognised household brand.
Are you a qualified fitter or busy with your apprenticeship? Mechanic? Full training will be given.
Duties:
* Monitor, inspect, and verify the correct operation of plant and equipment within the production facility and associated areas.
* Manage and continuously review PPM requirements to avoid breakdowns and ensure minimum interruption or downtime to production.
* Manage and control in a timely manner the execution of scheduled, planned, and unplanned work orders for area of responsibility.
* Identify and create corrective work maintenance notifications for plant and equipment as required.
* Liaise directly with the relevant Maintenance Manager, Production Manager or Shift Supervisor to agree the schedule and priority of work
* Identify maintenance and/or engineering solutions and implement asrequested
* Record all relevant information on maintenance sheets when completing works to ensure compliance with BRC certification.
