Description:
Our client, based in Kildare, is currently recruiting a maintenance technician for their state of the art, food production facility. This is a fully automated, clean production environment where food product is processed24/7. This job requires flexibility to work shift, but might also suit someone who only wants to work weekend shift. The hourlyrate and shift premium is generous and you will be joining a large company where promotional prospects are available.
Are youa qualified electrician or fitter?
Do you have more than a years post apprenticeship experience working in a factory maintenance team?
Do you have experience working with PLC's?
Are you willing to work shifts?
Duties will include:
* Carry out installations and commissioning of plant / equipment & trouble shooting of same.
* Carry out basic programming and diagnostic ofplant and equipment.
* Contribute to the efficiency of the operation by maximizing uptime of machinery & minimise
downtimein production and utility areas.
* Carry out the execution of the preventive maintenance programs.
* Troubleshooting using PLC Programs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, General Electric, and
Schneider Electric PLCs).
* Technical support for all the plant facilities (including but not limited to compressed air &
refrigeration).
