Description:
On behalf of my client in Cork City, I am recruiting for Skilled Sewing Machinists required to join a manufacturing team to support production processes forthe manufacture of industrial textile products & soft inflatable products for the aviation market.
This is a full time permanent role, Monday to Friday, no weekends.
The ideal candidate will have experience with sewing heavy fabrics and using an industrial walking foot machine.
The role involves a variety of activities including :
* Preparation of products for manufacture
* Operate a range of sewing machines, fabric welding and seaming machines
* Take training on new production equipment as needed
* Assist with product testing to ensure the highest quality product is produced.
Requirements
This position requires a skilled manual worker. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment in any of the following areas would be excellent for this position.
* - Sail making
* - Inflatable boat manufacturer
* - Tarpaulins manufacturer
* - Upholstery* - Saddlery / leather goods manufacture
* - Blind manufacture
