Responsibilities
The Role
* Recording goods issued and returned back into stock
* Process orders and forwarding order requisitions to the Stores manager forordering
* Chasing / enquiring on order delivery dates
* Ensure that all stocks are maintained at the required levels
* Assisting with the re-map of the store moving stock and creating computerised label
* Carrying out regular stock takes within your area of responsibility, keeping all items to an absolute minimum whilst maintaining continuity of supply
* Update and maintenance of computerised stock control system
* Oversee the receiving of orders and relevant documentation and ensure orders arefulfilled
* Identify improved cost saving methods and liaising with Maintenance stores manager on sourcing of replacement parts.
* General House Keeping of the Store
* Ensuring H&S and hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations are adhered too
* Any other duties as required by stores manager.
Requirement and skills:
* A positive attitude.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong attention to detail.
* The ability to follow and enforce Health & Safety regulations.
* People skills
The working hours are either:
Sunday 6am-6pm
Monday 6am-6.30pm
Tuesday 3pm-11pm
Wednesday 3pm-11pm
Thursday 3pm-11pm
OR
Tuesday 6am-2pm
Wednesday 6am-2pm
Thursday 6am-2pm
Friday 6am-6pm
Saturday 6am-6.30pm
48 hours a week, £11.44 per hour.
