Assistant Service Manager - £30k-£35k & £5k Car Allowance - Leicester
This role is to train/develop as a Service Manager and assist current Operational staff with their responsibility for the management of service delivery for the UHL MES account. The key objectives are to ensure that all service and maintenance activities are delivered safely, and carried out in line with industry standards and contractual obligations, to provide high standards of contract management including representing the company on all contractual and operational site issues.
After a period of training be able to deputise for onsite Operations Manager. The post holderwill be able to draw upon support from the extensive team of technical, commercial, project management and administrative colleagues where appropriate.
Key Accountabilities:
* Work professionally as a key member of the service delivery team withinthe Operations division, and to communicate regularly and effectively with all other team members
* Work closely with line manager in regards to all aspects of service delivery and performance management
* Assist with first line support as required onoperational and incident issues
* Support the Implementation team at planning group meetings
* Attend and provide input to joint investment committee meetings
* Assist with the performance of all maintenance & service related operational obligations at the appropriate sites
* Be responsible for ensuring user training is organised and recorded in line with our contractual obligations
* Contribute to internal steering group and strategy meetings
* Communicate issues and escalations in a timelyand effective manner, to all stakeholders, ensuring appropriate escalation occurs
* Deliver operational excellence at the sites by meeting and exceeding operational contractual obligations
* Assist with the production of performance reports to the high standards required and in line with contractual service level agreements
* Undertake audits of legacy equipment and verify lists of assets
* Liaise with the Trust, OEMs, building contractors, removals teams and other team members over the removal andre-installation of Legacy items as support to the Implementation team
* Understand the operational contract and provide cover/ backup to other Service Managers at other sites
Skills/Experience required:
* HNC or HND in relevant subject
* Contract Management
* Ideally worked within the NHS/Private Health care
* Radiology or Medical Imaging equipment experience is essential
* Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
* IT Literate
Details:
* £30,000-£35,000 per annum
* £5k CarAllowance
* Leicester based - some UK travel (HO in reading)
* 2/3 days per month - UK Travel
* International travel - Occasionally
