Position: Clinical Nurse Manager 2 in Behavioural Therapy
As a CNMII Behavioural Therapy, you will provide care and on-going assessment and management of residents (older adults and adult disability residents) presenting with responsive behaviour, multiple co morbidities and frailty. You will be responsible for the educational development of Healthcare staff in responsive behaviour which is in line with bestpractice. This development will occur through role modelling, peer review, demonstration, practical skills, workshops and focusgroups. You will also be responsible for auditing and identifying areas for development.
You will be required to work as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team in the organisation providing physical, psychological and emotional support to older people and their families/carers throughout their disease trajectory.

Your profile:* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI, ABA) in the General or Mental Health or Intellectual Disability Division OR Entitled to be registered
* You will have a minimum of 5 years post registration experience of which 2 mustbe in the speciality or related area of Behavioural Therapy
* You will demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
* You will possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
* You will be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of abilityto render regular and efficient service.
* You will have a strong interpersonal, communication skills and be of good character.
* You will have effective analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
* You will have the ability to lead onclinical practice and service quality, the ability to plan and manage resource effectively.
