Anexciting opportunity to join a supportive and longstanding client of ours in London has opened up as they seek a Head of Qualityto join the team.
The Head of Quality will work as a member of the Clinical Governance team, reporting to the Medical Director. With the Quality Manager(s) report to the Head of Quality.
The post holder will be accountable for the delivery of quality across all services and for continuous improvement in their quality. They will work in close partnership with operational colleagues to achieve this and with other colleagues as required to deliver quality services and to be an effective senior leader in the organisation.
The post holder will line manage all employed ACPs (Advanced Clinical Practitioners) and for the quality of their work as well as managing quality outputs from our sessional clinical workforce. They will provide strongleadership to enable the services to respond effectively to the challenges they will face whilst providing efficient clinical services and sustained improvements. The Head of Quality will provide professional leadership to any allied health care professionals within the organisation.
The post holder will also be responsible for providing leadership on a range of clinical imperatives across the organisation as agreed from time to time with the Medical Director (and CEO in the absence of the MedicalDirector), including safeguarding and infection prevention and control.
The role is based in Kingston-upon-Thames with remote working and a requirement to attend sites.
Qualifications and Education -
* Relevant professional clinical qualification; HCPC, NMC, or other professional registration Masters or equivalent level 7 study covering the 4 pillars of advanced practice (clinical practice, leadership and education, research, education).
* Evidence of continued professional development.
* Level 4 Safeguarding training Experience & Knowledge
* Experience of working autonomously diagnosing and treating patients.
* Experience in clinical leadership and team management
* Previous experience of working in a lead role for infection & Prevention control.
* Previous experience of working in a lead role for safeguarding.
* Experience in implementing & managing clinical governance process'.
* Good knowledge of CQC & KLOE requirements
* Knowledge of service improvement activities including audit, research, reflective practice
* Experience of managing risks and reporting
