Interoperability and Cloud Solution Architect Remote UK or Ireland
My client is looking for a senior level consultant that requires experience and demonstrable success in working with clients to build highly secure and performance optimized medical imaging solution designs, reporting directly to the Global Vice President of Business Development and Strategy.
This role operates in a heavily client facing environment and leading technical discussions and discovery withclient management and executive staff and will also play a critical role in building client confidence with data and applications hosted in the cloud based on your expertise and communication of your design.
The Interoperability and Cloud Solution Architect actively leads a technical infrastructure white boarding session with a new prospective client and is responsible for negotiating with the client on all aspects of final technical design. Via a structured discovery process, this role records detailed technical documentation and translates this information into internal and client facing designs and verbally communicates the design to client and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure design and client facing documentation of on-premise and cloud-based medical imaging IT solutions, including interfaces, systems interoperability, optimizing CPU/storage for cost and performance, optimized hybrid designs and optimized managed services designs.
Discover client requirements,assumptions, KPIs and SLAs associated with solutions.
Engaging and presenting directly with clients to explain all facets of solutions, including building client facing materials to support engagement.
Liaising with client after purchase through deployment regarding elements of the solution, change orders and topics that arise regarding transitioning the clientto a cloud solution.
Responsible for being an internal subject matter expert and the primary expert supporting proposals and specifying components required to be quoted to clients.
Critical Skills:
* Expertise with solutions, vendors and customers in medical imaging IT.
* Proven experience in public cloud, private cloud and hybrid storage and application infrastructure design.
* Deep knowledge of data and interface standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM and others.
* Experience implementing system architecture best practices for building highly secure and performance optimized solutions.
* Experience in heavy customer-facing presentation and information discovery that supports the successful delivery to clients
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills within a multicultural environment.

Qualifications Required:
a) Education: Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Engineering or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or work experience.
b) Experience:
5+ years of experience in healthcare IT desired, preferably in one of the following digital segments: medical imaging, population health management, clinical workflow automation, clinical decision support.
5+ years of experience in a client facing solution architect or technical solution consultant role
3+ years of experience as a subject matter expert or lead in public, private and hybrid cloud solution design.
Additional preferred experience;
3+ years of relevant experience with health data platforms and working knowledge of Health IT standards
