If so read on? I am looking for a PMO Manager will lead the continued development of our PMO and be accountable for project management standards, tools, templates and processes. The PMO Manager will provide oversight and expertise to successfully manage our portfolio, resources, capacity. This includes working closely with leadership and various stakeholders across the organization to ensure the successfully delivery of specific strategic initiatives. This role requires experience building a PMO, maturing its functions and a track record that includes evolving a PMOto maximize its value to the business. You will have UPMC's network of colleagues and a wealth of skillsets across the globe todraw upon as we progress through this expansion.
The PMO will manage all IT related projects utilizing proven project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Lean, or Six Sigma



Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities Client Relationships / Communication:

* Understands project objectives, and business value, from the user's point of view. Is customer focused. Builds trusted relationships with users.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including summaries, presentations, and executive reports.
* A strong blend of technology, business, financial and communication skills.

Project portfolio management:

* Serves as the liaison between IT VPs/Executives and Business managers. Ensures proposals are launched and managed within an efficient manner. Knowledgeable in the function of Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
*Process Oriented, utilizes organizational and PMO processes and standards to provide consistent and excellent project managementservices. Understands the need and value to continually define and/or improve processes.
* Project Planning and Management: Experienced in planning and managing project scope, schedules, resources, budget, issues, and risks. Understands need and value of attention to detail. Proactively identifies and addresses project risks. Utilizes change management to control scope and communicate scope changes. Tracks and reports project progress and forecast trends.
* Experience in a similar technical/industry. Demonstrates financial awareness. Working knowledge of analytical and problem-solving techniques and tools.
* experience working in an agile development environment, leading or monitoring projects, resources and deliverables.
* In-depth knowledge of change management methodologies, techniques, processes, and approaches.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategicresource plan
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to provide strong leadership during times of change

* Ability to organize, manage, and lead project teams to success. Supports project team members and colleagues. Builds strong relationships with colleagues and IT partners. Skillfully handles situations and creates positive outcomes. Demonstrates self-awareness. Provides mentoring and support to others in areas of expertise.
* The implementation and support for information security directives as mandated by UPMC policy and GDPR.
* Skillfully handles situations and creates positive outcomes. Demonstrates management autonomy.
* Mentor others in solving project, program and/or client problems.
* Highly trusted by management and client executives and demonstrates a high level of self-awareness.
* Accountable for program results that span multiplebusiness units, serves as escalation point for projects within the program.
* Ability to recognize enterprise priority initiatives, constraints on work efforts, and recommend solutions.
* Identifies, mentors, and trains future leaders and project managers regarding best practices for effective project management skills.
* Provide input to the vision and direction for continuous advancement of the IT PMO.

Qualifications / Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with 5+ years professional experience in a project implementation capacity. 2+ years in a senior role. PMP, PgMP, or other related certification preferred. Candidates who are multi-lingual are preferred. The ability to speak and understand Italian is a plus.

Post Specific Requirements PMP credential is preferred.
