Junior Facilities Co-Ordinator - Halifax - Salary £22,000 pa.This superb Corporate company in Halifax is looking to find a motivate individual with strong organisational skills, who wouldlike to learn & be trained to become a Junior Facilities Co-Ordinator.

The Junior Facilities Co-Ordinator will working onsite at the company's Halifax office, looking after and ensuring the security of the building and services that their staff relyon.

Although no previous facilities experience is required as training will be provided, suitable candidates must be naturally proactive, organised in their work, be good communicators (written & verbally) and have a thirst for learning new skills- excel in this role and you will build the skills & knowledge to make Facilities management a career!

As a permanent employee, the Junior Facilities Co-Ordinator will be trained across the full range of facilities including Health & Safety, Maintenance planning, security, utilities, administration & contractor management. For those keen to expand their knowledge further, the company will also invest in further training & certifications.

A typical working week is onsite at the Halifaxoffice Monday to Friday from 9.30am - 6pm with an hours lunch.

Responsibilities:

The Junior Facilities Co-Ordinator willbe part of a small team dedicated to ensuring the offices are welcoming, safe and well maintained, undertaking tasks including:* General facilities duties
* Provide administrative support to the Facilities Manager
* Emergency lighting monthly checks
* Water temperature checks
* Monthly fire door and extinguisher checks
* House keeping
* Maintain a neat and organised stock room
* Deal with postal requirements including franking mail and sorting post
* Locking up the building
* Security Passes - booking visitors and contractors in and out
* Looking after contractors while on site
* Record and track maintenance and handle issues with various vendors
* Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g. heatingand cooling systems, alarms, security cameras)
* Coordinate office and parking space allocation
* Full training will be given including Manual Handling, Fire Marshal & First Aid
