An fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered General Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providersAn inviting and purpose built nursing home, proving the most comfortable and supportive environment for residents who requiregeneral nursing care, dementia nursing or residential dementia care
**To be considered for this role you must be qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a current active NMC Pin**
As a Nurse your key duties include:
* Workingclosely with the care and management team, you will promote high standards of nursing care
* Ensure all staff are supervisedappropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner
* Perform all general nursing duties, following CQC and NMCguidelines, update care plans and administer safe medication
* Being dependable and flexible in order to meet the needs of theresident and the home
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
* Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices
* Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is important
* An understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
* Dedicated and compassionate and pride themselves on their person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £19.83 per hour and the annual salary is up to £45,371.04 per annum. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
