Pharmacy Technician - Co. Kerry
Pharmacy Technician required with excellenttime management, communication and listening skills for a Co. Kerry. This position is 2 or 3 days a week, Monday - Wednesday, 9.00-5.30
Job Duties:
* Act as a champion for all management of pharmacy.
* Oversee in the ordering of stock, and responsibility for safe administration of drugs and ensure that all errors are reported and investigated without delay.
* Dispensing in an efficient and precise manner and ensuring all regulations in the dispensary are adhered to.
* Accurately and efficiently preparing orders.
* Verifying information and monitoring and of the stock system.
* Ensuring that regular audit of stock is in place and taking remedial action when quality expectations are not met.
* Responsible for maintaining own professional development and update, attending courses and study days as deemed necessary.
* Maintain records and manage data in accordance with the mandatory legal requirements, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
* Work in line with nationalguidelines.
* Maintain professional standards in relation to confidentiality, ethics and legislation
Skills and Qualifications:
* Professional qualification as a qualified pharmacy technician.
* Previous experience with an automated dispensing systems ideal but not essential.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills schedule all aspects of the pharmacysupply and demand.
* Excellent communication skills so as to communicate effectively.
* Ability to make decisions and problem solve in a timely and efficient manner.
* Ability to work as part of a team or individually in a fast-paced environment.* Proficient in Word, Excel, email, etc.
* A flexible approach to attendance on duty
