Pharmacy Technician - Co. Clare
To support the Managing Pharmacist in the dispensary in a busy and challenging environment. Working to agreed operating procedures within the pharmacy to maintain the highest ethical standards and deliver excellent customer care.
You don't necessarily need to be a fully qualified technician aslong as you have some pharmacy experience, they can look at training and possibly paying to complete the technician's course. ÂMain duties and responsibilities:
* Responsible for dispensing and preparing prescriptions
* Providing a high standardof Customer Service
* Ensuring efficient stock control & ethical ordering
* Ensuring prescription control
* Completionof end of month claims
* Full understanding of reject and reclaim books
* Completion of all necessary paperwork
* Provideexperience to help drive O.T.C Sales
* Provide experience when reviewing KPI's
* Responsible for dispensary housekeepingKnowledge and Experience
* Must hold an approved Pharmacy Technician Qualification
* Must have at least 6 months of experience in a Technician/ Dispensary role
* Previous O.T.C Sales experience
* In-depth product knowledge
