Principal Psychologist
South of Ireland
FRS are delight to be recruiting for a Principal Psychologist to work in South of Ireland region. A fantastic opportunity to work with our client who is a well known organisation which provides supports and services to people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
The Principal Psychologist Manager will lead and be responsible for the effective delivery of quality psychology services across all serviceareas, which includes adults and children with an intellectual disability/autism/mental health difficulties.
The Principal Psychologist Manager will be a member of the multidisciplinary management teams, providing integrated care to the service user population, contribute to service planning, development, evaluation and quality initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
* A third level qualification recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland, 1st or 2nd class honours with Psychology as a major subject and a post-graduate professional qualification in clinical, counselling or educational psychology.
* Atthe time of application Candidates who qualified outside the Republic of Ireland must have their qualifications validated by the Department of Health & Children.
* Possess the requisite knowledge, experience and ability (including a high standard ofsuitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the role.
* Knowledge and expertise of workingwith adults with an Intellectual Disability and their families in a multidisciplinary team setting.
* A full Irish/EU Drivinglicence
Salary: €98,350 - €114,013k DOE
