Process Operative - Little Island
Our client, a contract manufacturer who deliver specialised services to the pharmaceutical industry, are seeking experienced Process Operatives to join their team in Little Island.In this role as a Process Operative, you will be an integral part of the production team, ensuring the seamless operation ofprocesses in line with established protocols. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in upholding safety standards, meeting production targets, and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
The Position
* Permanent Position
* Monday to Thursday working week (3 x 10 hour shifts and 1 x 9 hour shift)
Responsibilities:* Collaborate with management to enforce safety protocols and maintain a secure working environment.
* Execute productionplans efficiently, meeting deadlines and adhering to quality standards.
* Undergo comprehensive training on assigned tasks andassist in onboarding new team members.
* Perform production duties accurately according to standard operating procedures andBatch Manufacturing Records.
* Contribute insights to enhance work practices, equipment efficiency, and overall process optimisation.
* Support the implementation and upkeep of the Quality Management System.
* Demonstrate flexibility in task management and adaptability to changing priorities.
* Report any issues promptly to facilitate swift resolution.
* Uphold cleanliness and organisation standards in work areas and shared facilities.
* Complete daily and monthly responsibilities, including dispensing raw materials, operating machinery, and maintaining equipment calibration.
* Ensure compliance with cleanroom procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
* Oversee deliveries, operate forklifts, and assist with manual handling tasks as required.
* Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture within the production department.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a cleanroom environment is advantageous.
* Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) is preferred.
* Understanding QEHS guidelines.
* Knowledge of GMP, GDP, HSS 01, and manual handling procedures is beneficial.
