Job Description:
A prestigious private hospital in North Dublin is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join it's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring a high standard of Occupational Therapy services is provided across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services across all departments within the hospital.
* Ensure adherence to professional standards of practice.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnoses.
* Develop individualised treatment plans foreach patient.
* Monitor and reassess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
* Work collaboratively withother healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Clinical Competencies and Knowledge Base:
* Cognitive assessments
* Functional assessments
* Home assessments
* Discharge planning in the acute sector
* ADL (Activities of Daily Living) equipment - assessment and prescription
* Pressure care
* Seating assessment and prescription
* Basic knowledge ofupper and lower static splinting
* Knowledge of onward referral to HSE and non-HSE community services and agencies
Qualifications:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy
* Registration with CORU
* Atleast 3 years Post Graduate experience
