Social Worker - Children's Disability Galway
Are you an energetic CORU registered Social Worker who hasa passion for working with children? If so, I have the perfect opportunity for you! I am recruiting a Social Worker to join a growing Children's Disability Team in Galway. The successful candidate will be a part of a supportive, friendly team who supportschildren with disabilities, and their families.
Contract position
Senior and Basic Grade applicants considered
Own transport required
The Social Worker will:
* Provide a direct point of access for the local community and offer initial and holistic social assessment and intervention to children, youth, families and groups
* Identify service users' individual and collective needs in partnership with them and co-create early interventions and/or social action strategies to meet those needs
* Manage and prioritise a caseload appropriate to the post
* Plan, deliver and engage in systemic interventions as appropriate with children, youth and families, groups, organisations and communities
Requirements:
* Social Work qualification with CORU registration
* Full licence with access to own transport
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Experience of managing caseloads
