4-month contract - NHS Trust, London
£421 per day
Hybrid Working

Overview:

The NHS Trust are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager with a track record of working at a senior trust level to oversee the implementation of the Trust CCS in this fast-paced programme. You will be working alongside several senior Trust stakeholders, an Operational Delivery Team, and digital and data colleagues to prepare and rollout the solution. This is an exciting opportunity within aleading London NHS Trust, and you will play an active role within the Trust's Delivery Team.

Due to the manual data updates at individual Trusts, the quality and accuracy of the national waiting list data is compromised, making it difficult for managersto truly understand and provide assurance to Government that the issue is understood, and actions are in place to recover the backlog of elective care.



What they are we looking for:

* NHS Trust experience - At least 3 years of senior level experience at trust (Essential)
* Ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders including clinicians andworking within challenging circumstances (Essential)
* Strong project management skills and experience to include tools, techniques, governance, and assurance (Essential)
* Experience of managing a digital transformation of a clinical pathway or process (Essential)
* Clinical Pathways - Experience of surgical pathways (Desirable)
* Experience of working within a national programme (Desirable)

Key Responsibilities:

* Matrix-managing a multidisciplinary team.
* Managing and tracking the mitigation of risks and issues and manage dependencies across teams and departments.

* Ensuring all key stakeholders e.g., technical teams, clinicians, are fully briefed on and bought into the benefits of the solution at kick-off stage
* Delivering a detailed Trust Implementation Plan which aligns to the overall Trust pilot roadmap (Trust Kick-Off, Trust Readiness, Pre-Roll Out and Roll Out etc) with clear roles and responsibilities outlined across operational and clinical delivery teams
* Scoping out the resource requirements for the Trust to deliver the pilot, and ensuring this resource is in place to deliver when required
*Mobilising key project roles such as the Operational Delivery Team and the Clinical Engagement Network to progress fast delivery against the plan
* Setting up the relevant local governance structures to enable effective reporting and governance of the pilot at a local level
* Ensuring that all legal documentation required to deliver the Pilot (MOU and IG) is in place within the Trust to kick off the pilot Ensuring that all directly impacted users (Clinicians, Theatre Schedulers etc)
* Monitoring andreporting regularly on progress against key milestones to the Trust SRO, Regional Implementation Lead and Regional Support Manager
* Line management responsibilities for team members within IECCPP core implementation team at your trust

Key activitiesand outputs:

* Support the Trust SRO to kick-off the pilot within the Trust, which includes ensuring all key stakeholders are bought into the key benefits of the solution

* Support the SRO in planning the implementation of the Trust CCS and delivery of a detailed Implementation Plan
* Assess and acquire the resource to run implementation using resourcing guidance (hostedon Future NHS)
* Manage day to day activities of the Operational Delivery Team, including external suppliers, to ensure delivery against the plan
* Produce a detailed training plan and ensure all impacted users are trained on the solution
* Manage any risks escalated from the Operational Delivery Team to the Regional Implementation Lead where appropriate and seek appropriatemitigation activities
* Deliver a change management plan and collateral to key users and stakeholders
* Support the trainingand rollout of the tool across clinical, operational, and technical staff
* Continuously monitor and update on the progress of the implementation to the Regional Delivery Manager.
