HYRBID - 3 days on site Wesleyan, 2 days remote.
My Client are an NHS Trust based in West Midlands and are seekingan Executive Assistant for the Primary Care, Digital Team on an initial 3 month contract basis (37.5 Hours) Paying £154 per day(Inside IR35).
Job Summary
* The post-holder will provide a comprehensive business support service to the Executive Director(s) and assist the Executive Team in achieving the I C B ' s aims and objectives maintaining the highest standards of customer care at all times. Each EA will support (a) named Director(s) but will be expected to provide flexible cross-cover for EA colleagues as required.
* The post holder will provide a quality and responsive personal assistant service including complex diary management and extensive minute taking, therefore all applicants must be highly experienced and confident in minute taking upto and including Board level.
* This department is very busy and the work, at times, very pressurised, particularly when having to arrange urgent meetings and minuting unexpected meetings. The post holder should be adept, confident, and flexible to meetthe ever-changing demands.
* You will need to be able to use your initiative and plan your own workload in a way that supportsthe Executive Management Team and the wider team. Therefore, it is essential that a close working relationship and cover arrangements exist between the post holder and other Executive Assistants supporting other members of the Executive Management Team toensure a seamless service is always provided.
* In addition, you will be expected to exercise judgement and initiative when communicating with other senior managers, Trusts and outside agencies, and to act as a focal point for queries on behalf of and in the absence of the Executive Director(s) you will be supporting. A confident and engaging telephone/email manner and the ability to act in a proactive manner are essential. The role will involve working independently, supporting the Executive Director(s)in managing complex relationships with external and internal stakeholders and will require a significant level of interpersonalskill.
* At all times the post holder will be dealing with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature which shouldnot be divulged to another or discussed with other colleagues unless necessary. The post holder must be comfortable working with varied professional groups.
Experience
Essential
* Substantial experience of working at a similar level
* Substantial experience of formal high-level minute taking.
* Experience of working with Senior Managers, Executives and Boards.
* Experience and knowledge of administrative procedures
Desirable
* Experience of line managing staff
* Previous NHS or public sector experience
Knowledge
* Fast and accurate keyboarding skills Technical and operational expertise in the use ofa range of I.T. platforms, including shared drives, electronic document libraries (including document control), cloud storage facilities, portable computing equipment, and sharing information remotely.
Qualifications
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Further or higher education qualification (A level or degree level)
