Concept Resourcing are very happy to be working with a public sector client of ours based in Warwickshire who arelooking for an Interim Category Manager to join them for the next twelve months.
This role will require you to be commutableto the Warwickshire office once per week.
Role
The Interim Category Manager is responsible for the Construction and Estates related procurement activities covering but not limited to the following areas:
* FM Hard Services and FM Soft Services* Building and Civil projects
* Refurbishment projects
* Ground Maintenance
* Waste Management
You will be accountable for supporting tender procedures to deliver best value contracts and continuous improvement solutions which result in value for money, savings and contribute to the teams Procurement Strategy.
Work closely with stakeholders to review current supply chain solutions and implement optimum procurement arrangements taking account of operational contexts, regulatory or funder compliance and applicable funder deadlines.
Key Requirements:
Must haves: OJEU Tendering experience, Procurement Category Management across Estates, FM & Construction
* To be the Category expert with extensive knowledge of the market with regardsto key commodities and categories of supply and services.
* To have sound commercial acumen to ensure that the organisation achieves Value for Money and manage the risks associated with all contracting activities.
* You'll have the ability to influence and engage with Senior Stakeholders.
* You'll have a solid understanding and communication skills to liaise with Estates andFM suppliers with knowledge of completing (NEC/JCT) contracts.
The successful candidate can receive up to £500p/d Inside IR35.
