Assistant Retail Store Manager - Co. Mayo
This position would suit a person with relevant retail management experience. Experience selling /buying andor user knowledge of outdoor clothing and equipment would be desirable.

Applicants will ideally have atleast 2 years of experience in a busy retail environment including:
* A strong track record in retail selling.
* Good organisational skills with set clear goals
* Excellent customer service skills and in building good relationships with the customers, team and suppliers
* Great communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills* Strong commercial awareness with a Customer Service approach.

* The role will involve the overall management of the store which includes achieving sales targets, leading ateam, wage control, buying, stock management, marketing, promotions, merchandising and store development.
Duties:
* Maximise overall store sales and profit performance as per targets set.
* Managing day to day operations of the store
* Proficiency in Microsoft office, excel in particular, is required.
* Take corrective action as required.
* Drive customer service standards along with store display and merchandising
* Liaise with staff on the company policy and procedure and ensure staff commitment and compliance
* Motivate staff through personal enthusiasm, excellent personal standards and team working
* Managethe recruitment and development of staff and ongoing performance review.
* Strong commercial awareness with a Customer Service approach.
* Ensure all procedures in relation to cash administration, health & safety, stock and merchandising are adhered to.
* Create a weekly rota that maximises service and adheres to cost targets.
* Must be available to work flexible hoursincluding weekdays and weekends
