Grocery Manager - West Co. Galway
The main purpose of the role:
Ensure the Grocery Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times. Provide our customers with excellent quality products and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* Minimum 1 years` experience in a management position
* An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
* Excellent communicationskills
* Good delegation skills
* Ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided to all customers.
* Highlydriven with a strong work ethic
* Commerciality and brand awareness
* Passion for grocery retail
* Thrive in a fast-pacedworking environment
Main duties:
* Communicate the required operating standards to all employees and ensure they understand and implement such standards at all times
* Drive sales through in-store initiatives
* Merchandise and present the department to the highest standard at all times and following relevant store planograms and guidelines
* Adhere to weekly stocktaking and daily waste procedures in the Grocery Department
* Liaise with the management team to ensure that weekly gross profit, net profit and sales targets are achieved
* Conduct quality and freshness checks
* Attend relevant training as required and implement this in-store
* Have in-depth knowledge of all Health & Safety regulations and how they relate to the store.
*Conduct any other duties as directed by the Store Manager.
