INTERIOR DESIGNER, with Management Responsibilities for Dublin 18
The role has a number of responsibilities and accountabilities.
Job Description:
* Sales - to develop extra sales through a personalised design service, cross-selling of products, house calls when needed.
* Advisory- ensure expert advice is delivered with care and consideration to the customer's requirements
* StaffManagement - assist the Store Manager with managing all staff issues including staff training and development, maintaining the time and attendance system.
* Merchandising - supporting stock ordering, stock levels, stock merchandising, product displays toensure that the company policy is maintained.
* Administration - assist the Store Manager in the management of all cash including till lifts, banking, floats, checking in deliveries, invoice certification, stock take, store key holding.
* Customer Service - monitoring and improving service standards, complaint management, till procedures.
* Telephone answering.
* Store Management - monitoring the overall store to ensure a high standard of signage.
* General housekeeping and hygiene, health &safety, security and store maintenance.
Specification:
* Excellent knowledge and passion for soft furnishings and interior design
* Strong people skills, and ability to build a rapport with clients
* A strong track record in retail selling.
*Proven experience in managing people.
* Enthusiastic and committed
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills
*Strong commercial awareness and drive to perform
