Team Leader -Dublin Northside (Hardware Store)
Retail Team Lead position that would suit a customer-focused individual with relevant retail experience and a passion for customer service.
The position is a full-time, 39-hour contract, Working 5 days over 7 and every second weekend. A competitive salary depends on experience + bonus.
The ideal candidate:
* Experienced in retail, sales or operations and ready to step up
* Exposure to people management activities in a customer-facing environment
* Have a desire to support and mentor the team members
* Be an authentic leader who builds an environment where every team member can bethemselves and do their best work.
* Be comfortable with holding performance-related discussions when needed
* Be a superbcommunicator with the ability to articulate messages clearly, listen to others, and engage with people

Main role responsibilities include:
* Delivering extraordinary customer service, actively mentoring and motivating the store team
* Effectively communicating business goals and objectives to our colleagues
* Identifying commercial opportunities in your local area
* Being responsible for cash and stock control
* Supporting the store management teamin making the best use of the payroll and headcount budgets
* Supporting the recruitment of store members when required
* Authorising and handling refunds and exchanges
* Managing the performance of the team
* Conducting Performance Appraisals when required and supporting with talent and succession planning for your team
* Following health and safety regulations whilst maintaining excellent operational standards to provide a safe environment for the customers and team members.
