Team Leader (Garden Centre) - LimerickThe successful candidate will be responsible for consistently achieving sales targets, delivering excellent customer service whilst merchandising stock, creating powerful displays and maintaining the Garden Centre to the highest possible standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering sales growth and achieving sales targets
* Maintaining the highest standards of store presentation and cleanliness including shop floor, garden centre and display areas
* Developing a relationship with nurseries/gardensuppliers to avail of constantly changing seasonal offerings
* Plant husbandry and maintenance
* Providing basic design advice on all aspects of hard and soft landscaping.
* Delivering excellent customer service to all customers
* Merchandising stock & creating powerful displays
* Stock control
* Maintain & continuously develop excellent levels of product knowledge
* Managing point of sale processes, including cash, card and credit transactions
* Comply with health & safety regulations
* Work well as part of a close-knit team
* Flexibility to provide support to all areas of the store
The ideal candidate will have
* Previous garden centre experience would be advantageous
* The ability to work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team
* Strong customer focus
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail
