BRAND NEW opportunity for a talented Account Director - Storage, Backup, Cloud, Managed Services, Cyber Security
My client is an award-winning technology company who is looking to add an experienced Account Director to their Enterprise team.
The role of the Account Director is predominantly (80%) a field based, customer facing sales role, responsible for deep relationship development todeliver margin growth within a number of strategic accounts. The key to success in this role will be the leverage and maintenance of strong relationships with key stakeholders up to board level. The role requires the ability to use solution and diagnosticsales techniques to sell a wide range of services to deliver measurable business value.
The role carries an annual sales target broken down quarterly and based on a growth plan. The role also requires high levels of opportunity and pipeline managementskills.
Required Experience
* Minimum of 5 years' experience selling to either Public Sector or Commercial clients
* Specific sales expertise in two or more of the following areas: Managed services, colocation, DRaaS, BaaS, IaaS. Enterprise Networking and Security
* Proven Business Development track record
* Experience of winning sales opportunities of £500k and aboveAccount Director Responsibilities
* Identify and proactively maximise opportunities for sales growth
* Win large scaleIT projects
* Develop new and existing business opportunities
* Own, manage and control the preparation of bids, tenders and RFIs / RFQs
* Allocate relevant focus and time to each customer and opportunity to deliver against the sales target
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with all key decision
* Identify and creatively resolve barriers to sales in individualopportunities

What's on Offer
A basic salary of £70-80k + Car Allowance depending on experiencewith excellent commission and bonus scheme taking the package to over 6 figures.
