Overview of the Account Manager:
The purpose of the role is to support the Account Director and/or Senior Account Manager. You will be responsible for generating and managing new sales campaigns, as well as building, and developing relationships within ourclient's various divisions, to further develop our strategic partnerships.
Duties:
* Delivering against sales targets in addition to business objectives set by the Company
* Creating a rhythm of business with clients as required including ad-hoc meetings, monthly and quarterly business reviews
* Updating ongoing sales pipeline and reporting back on a weekly basis across the sales cycle
* Proactively generating new promotion opportunities within client accounts
* Attending face to face client meetings where necessary
* Identifying creative new opportunities having assessed commercial feasibility for the clientand the business
* Quality checking all client reporting, spotting enhancements to drive additional insight and outtakes
* Understanding your clients and the challenges they face in their market and creating solutions to meet these challenges
* Attending selected networking events and trade shows as required
* Providing consultation to clients, monitoring and reporting on the client's competitor activity
* Working closely with all internal departments to ensure all relevant commercial documents, including billing, are executed with the utmost quality
* Keep the CRM system updated with the status of prospects, leads and campaigns as instructed
* Grow contact base within the client
* Min 1 day a month in the company office in London, and half aday a week with the end client which is based near Tottenham Court Road.
Ideal Experience:
* 2 years'+ experience within a consumer electronics manufacturer in a Category, Account Management or Product Management role with management of eitherconsumer or B2B PC or Smartphone products, with proven track record of account development and growth
* Multinational, multi-language experience an advantage
* Commercial acumen with previous P&L exposure
* A passion to go above and beyond for clients at all times
* Competitive, self-motivated and driven to succeed
* Outstanding interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
* Excellent business development skills and sales acumen
* Attention to detail with analytical/statistical analysis skills
* MS Office experience
