Account Manager
My client is an award-winning global technology company who is looking to add an Account Manager to join andassist the further strategic development and growth of their Microsoft business.
This role is centred around developing andsupporting customers with the management, compliance and optimisation of their Microsoft enterprise contracts, across the entireproduct portfolio. This role has been developed to target new and existing customers. We will encourage and support you to develop the role in alignment with market changes/trends.
The role carries an annual sales target broken down quarterly and basedon a growth plan. The role also requires high levels of opportunity and pipeline management skills.
Account Manager Responsibilities
* Understand solution selling and build upon their Microsoft strategy develop a detailed understanding of Microsoftcontracts (EA, MPSA, CSP etc.) and support customers with ensuring their functionality requirements are met with the correct licensing models come a go-to for general licensing queries for new and existing customers.
* Work alongside the wider Microsoftand internal team to deliver an end-to-end lifecycle management service including such tasks as, contract offers, order fulfilment, remediating contract challenges, defining a Bill of Materials etc.
* Build a strong foundational knowledge on the Microsoft product portfolio.
* Actively stay up to date with any changes to Microsoft licensing terms and conditions.
* Using datacollected through Microsoft assessments, deliver presentations to customers on the findings with recommendations.
* Create andmaintain customer relationships with key stakeholders.
* Create and maintain relationships with vendors, distributors and surrounding service partners.
