Overview: Concept are delighted to be partnering with one of the largest privately-owned waste management firms in the country to help them grow their strategic bid function. Committed toexcellence and innovation in everything they do, they are now looking for talented individuals to join them to grow and developthe bid team.
About the role: The successful candidate will be a dynamic Bid Manager who will take charge of the overall bidding process. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities by managing the end-to-end bidding process, from research and evaluation to submission and post-bid analysis.
Key Responsibilities:* The Bid Manager will have ultimate responsibility for collating all the required input(s) to produce compelling bid documentsthat will realise a step-change improvement in the firm's bidding conversion rate.
* Be responsible for managing an opportunity from EoI/qualification through to contract award.
* Gather feedback on past bids to continuously improve future submissions.
* Chair bid planning meetings and lead bid/no bid decision-making processes.
* Supported by a Bid Writer, you will liaisewith internal teams - Contract Management, Sales, Operations, Compliance
Requirements:
* Proven track record of securing high-value complex FM, Built Environment and Waste services solutions.
* Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce high-quality narrative under tight deadlines.
* Be able to build strong relationships and influence at all levels, across specialisms and with senior colleagues.
