Senior Business Development Manager - Data Centre Co location
My client is an award-winning technology company who is looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager to their established UK team.
The role is delivering sales growth across DC Co location, by enabling customers to take advantage of my client's economies of scale and specialised expertise in operating and maintaining data centres. The role carries an annual sales target broken down quarterly and basedon a growth plan. The role also requires high levels of opportunity and pipeline management skills.
Senior Business Development Manager Responsibilities
* You will strategically manage your own sales pipeline to exceed targets, across a group of enterprise customers and self-identified high potential incubator accounts.
* You will ensure your understanding of customer needs and their future plans for technology, along with the risks, threats and opportunities associated with these, whilst positioning as their provider of choice for all relevant buying decisions.
* You will follow internal processes for forecasting, orders, pre-sales, updates and developing account plans, whilst updating Salesforce and the organisation on what will be required tosecure, grow, and retain the customer.
* You will champion your customer's perspective and position internally, whilst establishing clear long-term contact plans to ensure that there are appropriate relationships with technical, business management, influence, and decision-makers.
Business Development Manager Requirements
* Proven BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER within Data Centre Co location services.
* Industry specialisms, with the ability to identify market trends, threats, and opportunities.* Dedication to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
* Delivering profitable, long term business opportunities through new business acquisitions.
* Exceptional ability to identify sale opportunities, qualify sales leads and exceed targets.* Expert levels of researching, networking and relationship building.
* Accurate and effective pipeline management, with highly developed planning and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Basic salary of 70k - 80k OTE £140k - £160k (Uncapped commission) + Car Allowance + Benefits
