The role of a Business Development Executive is to create that first great impression with a prospective new customer, understand their pain points, and initially to create opportunities for our BusinessDevelopment Managers and Specialist Consultants to meet with them to demonstrate how we can help their business and bring them on board as a customer.
This role provides a great opportunity for someone who has some sales experience (plus an interest inthe IT and cyber industry) to progress within a successful business, in an exciting and fast-moving industry. More importantly,the role also offers a real opportunity for the right person to make the transition into a field based, customer facing, Business Development Manager role within the first 12 to 18 months.
You will be professional, confident and enthusiastic and have aflair for building relationships with senior managers and decision makers at a wide range of businesses. You will not only manage your own outbound calling to generate sales opportunities, but you will also work with our Marketing team following up targeted campaigns and incoming leads to ensure the team achieve their sales targets.
You will be provided with both sales and product training by our in-house trainers who will support you with your learning and development. You will also be working alongsideother talented salespeople so you can learn from their vast experience too. Key Responsibilities…
* Make outbound calls, and use tools such as LinkedIn,to identify and convert prospects and leads into sales appointments
* Influence new customers through positive and solution-based conversations
* Arrange appointments and effectively manage the Business Development Managers' diaries when arranging appointments
* Achieve combined targets by working effectively with Business Development Managers
* Participate in training andconversation coaching
* Ensure data is accurate and up to date on internal CRM system
* Carry out all related administrative tasks

* Experience of outbound calling in a high volume, results driven and rewarding environment
* A pleasant and engaging telephone manner
* Must be able to interact confidently with customers across all media
