A BRAND-NEW opportunity for a Software Business Development Executive to join a major player in Spend Management Software.Prospecting, identifying, and generating Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) to help build a strong pipeline of opportunities for all solution areas across the UK target markets. These SALs must be qualified to the agreed standard.
This will be achieved througha mixture of outbound and inbound SAL generation and nurturing, with most time spent talking to prospects on the telephone, with supporting engagement via email and LinkedIn. Additionally, you will attend exhibitions and seminars to network with senior finance/procurement professionals and increase awareness of our offering.
Responsibilities of the Software Business Development Executive
* Proactively plan out each week with lead generation activity that is aligned to the pipeline needs, taking a consultative, solution selling approach with key decision makers - establishing trusted relationships to determine their needs and understand their requirements. This will include:
* Outbound lead generation: e.g., telemarketing and LinkedIn activity to selected vertical markets, and following up on marketing campaigns (e.g., webinars, exhibitions, seminars, and downloads etc.).

* Managing inbound leads: responding to inbound enquiries via email, telephone and the website.
* Nurturing existing leads that are not 'sales-ready'.
* Representing the company at online and physical events - interacting with delegatesto generate new leads and to raise the profile and awareness of the brand.
* Lead processing: adding/updating/converting leadsin Salesforce with notes, activities and lead stage statuses.
* Providing Marketing colleagues with feedback on market/industry insights and lead quality to help drive improved campaigns.
* Liaising with Marketing and Sales colleagues on planning, lead quality, SAL progress and pipeline impact.
* Consistently meet and exceed monthly targets.
Job Requirements for the Software Business Development Executive
* Spent at least 1 yr in a BDE, SDR or Telemarketing role
* Self-motivated and resultsdriven
* Team player
