Concept Resourcing are delighted to be working alongside a market leader in their field based in Berkshire who are looking for a Buyer to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
* Supporting the procurement manager to deliver service contracts and parts buying for medical equipment.
* Negotiating pricing and terms of maintenance contracts.
* Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of POs.
* Managing the suppliers and contracts in line with the SRM programme, with focus on long-term sustainability, quality, and profitability.
* Prepare agreed monthly reports on external service contract spend and performance against SLAs.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
* Minimum 2 years procurement experience.* Understanding of cost management, SRM and performance improvement.
* Confident in managing and negotiating contracts.
*Past experience within the medical industry or in procurement medical devices.
* Ability to influence decisions.
* Supplierrelationship management.
* Excellent communication with ability to work alongside internal and external stakeholders.
* CIPS Level 4 or working towards.
The role offers a salary of £32,000- £36,000 + benefits and is office based with potential hybrid working.
