Description:
The Buyer will look after the commercial procurement activity for all items within the assigned category. You will be responsible for delivering targeted cost savings whilst maintaining and improving supplier and product quality.
Working collaboratively with our various departments in the UK and Procurement teams across the world, you will be responsible for:
* Sourcing events, onboarding new suppliers.
* Tendering existing business
* Negotiation of pricing, terms, and rebates with suppliers
* Supplier riskmanagement
* Supplier relationship, contract & supply performance management
* Compliance with product legislation andSupplier Guidelines
Skills & Requirements

* Have excellent analytical, numerical skills

* Be commercially focussed
* Possessdemonstrable experience of communicating at various levels & across geographies
* Experience of continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma
* CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) Qualified would be preferred
* SAPexperience would be preferred
