Concept Resourcing are delighted to be working alongside a new client in the Northwest Region who are looking for a Category Manager experienced in Business Services OR Technology to join their organisation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
* Planning and leading project delivery
* Managing suppliers inclusive of building and enhancing relationships and KPI/SLA reviews* Identifying procurement strategies in line with the category
* Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders
* Ensuringcompliance with PCR 2015/OJEU regulations
* Ability to work within set budgets with the view of maximising cost savings and quality for customers
* To be aware and one step ahead with market changes/influences
* Full end to end tendering
* Demonstrating procurement excellence by identifying trends via analysis
* Leading a small team to ensure procurement processes are executed in line with compliance
* Being a key player in enhaving the Business Services/Technology category using expertise in this field
The ideal candidate will attain the following skills:
* Strong leadership skills focusing on managing a team
*Excellent communicator with both internal and external colleagues and stakeholders
* Team player - able to build strong healthy relationships by listening and implementing proactive ideas/strategies
* Intrinsically motivated to succeed
* Keen eye for detail
* Ability to competently organise workload and break down data/trends
* PCR 2015/OJEU knowledge
* CIPS (desirableto attain/working toward however, funding will be given once established)
* Excellent in negotiation and ability to proactively influence decisions
* Target driven
