We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Fire Systems Business Manager to spearhead our clients Fire Division, driving growth, nurturing customer relationships, and ensuring top-notch service quality.
Position: Head of Fire
Reporting to: Commercial Director
Primary Role: As the Head of Fire, you will take charge of our clients Fire Division, playing a pivotal role in expanding our client's client base, engaging with consultants, and managing existing customer relationships. Your mission is to not only lead the fire sales sector but also present our clients comprehensive portfolio in a compelling commercial context. You'll work closely with the Sales & Marketing Coordinator and the Engineering Services Manager, collaborating both within and beyond the department to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
* Exceed sales, revenue, and margin targets consistently.* Showcase the Company's diverse product range in addition to fire sales.
* Identify high-potential accounts for new businessopportunities.
* Generate service maintenance revenue and implement account strategies.
* Stay vigilant about competitors, strategizing to maintain a sales advantage.
* Keep up with industry trends and technological advancements to offer cutting-edgeproducts.
* Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts to the Commercial Director.
* Ensure documentation complies with required standards and codes.
* Develop design specifications meeting BS5839 Fire Alarm Standards.
Effective Leadership:
*Motivate and lead the team with customer satisfaction as the central focus.
* Inspire the team to surpass targets, standards,and objectives.
* Cultivate a supportive environment through coaching and mentorship.
* Uphold the company's values and present a professional image.
Team Management:
* Collaborate weekly with the Engineering Services Manager for resource allocation.
* Lead recruitment efforts for fire service and installations.
* Identify and nurture opportunities for team growth and development.
Quality and Compliance:
* Instill a culture of quality across the company and customer networks.
* Stay updated on industry standards and legislative changes.
* Drive BAFE accreditation within specified timelines and maintain systems.
* Oversee fire and security designs and technical compliance audits.
* Authorized to approve fire alarm designs as per relevant standards.
Fire Division Development:
* Champion fire standards across the organization.
* Foster and nurture manufacturer partnership relationships.
