The Company
My client founded in 2010 is an independently owned, hospitality company that has a huge desire for growth, they already own and operate multiple bars and restaurantconcepts across Cardiff and Swansea. By 2024 they anticipate operating a total of 15 brands in the shape of bars, restaurants, food and drink production and other supporting hospitality businesses, this is an incredibly exciting time to be joining my client.
The Role - Head of Marketing:
As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing a marketing strategy that ties in with the company's three-year plan. You will report directly into the CEO and will be part of the Senior ManagementTeam, working closely with all other heads of departments including sales, operations, and HR.
The role will include:
*Developing an integrated marketing strategy across multiple brands and overseeing its delivery
* Building and nurturing an in-house team of marketing executives and designers
* Directing external agencies (PR, marketing, web)
* Overseeing all marketing communications outputs from the company and implementing creative initiatives that deliver return on investment
* Developing relationships with key stakeholders including the business community, media partners and influencers across south Wales
* Using data to refine and evolve strategy and outputs
Requirements for Head of Marketing:
* Significant, demonstrable experience in marketing at management level, preferably gained within the hospitality sector
* Degree educated or hold a recognised marketing qualification
* Detailed knowledge and experience in the practical delivery of a wide range of marketing techniques including, but not limited to, digital marketing, social media marketing and advertising, PPC, SEO.
* Up to date knowledge of emerging platforms and how they can be applied to hospitality businesses
* Ability to always handle multiple brands and initiatives as well as being able to react quickly to opportunities and new initiatives that arise in a growing company
* A team player who can work to tight deadlines and under pressure
* Having full accountability of the entire marketing function of thecompany
