The Company

My client founded in 2010 is an independently owned, hospitality company that has a huge desire for growth, they already own and operate multiple bars and restaurant concepts across Cardiff and Swansea. By 2024 they anticipate operating a total of 15 brands in the shape of bars, restaurants, food and drink production and other supporting hospitality businesses, this is an incredibly exciting time to be joining my client.The Role - Head of Sales:

My client are recruiting for a standout Head of Sales who can drive their sales team to maximise profits. The perfect candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and lead the team to hit targets. Due to the multi-brand nature of my client, you'd be expected to be able to handle various initiatives in each of the brands, always, as well as having to manage the occasional unexpected initiative. This would be an ideal role for a strong professional whowants to help a company that is set to grow exponentially in the next few years and be part of its success story.



Responsibilities - Head of Sales:

* Agree and implement a fully integrated sales campaign plan for each brand.
* Manage the sales team ensuring they are achieving all KPI's alongside monthly/yearly targets.
* Prepare and manage annual budgets.
* Participate in weekly, quarterly, and annual senior management meetings to discuss and agree company objectives.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, together with a broader sales strategy.
* Undertake regular trend forecasting and market research to understand the consumers across our multiple brands.
* Ensure communication from the team is streamlined, helping thevenues meet their sales targets.
* Assist the venues and marketing department with innovative ways to promote the business inline with company objectives.
* Provide relevant training to your team and management teams within our venues.
* Monitor customer complaints and ensure they are dealt with accordingly.
* Develop key relationships with clients and attend relevant networking events.
* Maintain an up to date understanding of my clients people, product, and place.
* Develop pre-launch sales and activation plans for new openings/initiatives.
* Create and develop a pipeline of new business for private events bookings,large group bookings and venue hires, ensuring strategies are in place to drive and report conversion.

Requirements for Headof Sales:

* Significant, demonstrable experience in sales at management level, preferably gained within the hospitality sector

* Ability to always handle multiple brands and initiatives as well as being able to react quickly to opportunities and new initiatives that arise in a growing company
* A team player who can work to tight deadlines and under pressure
