Junior Presales Engineer
A highly successful IT and data centre services provider which operates predominantly in the south-east,extending nationally and worldwide from their base in Chelmsford, Essex. They work with a diverse range of clients ranging fromschools and local businesses through to large multi-national organisations and data centre co-location providers.
The Role* Develop a thorough and expansive knowledge of products and services.
* Build and develop relationships within our clients.
* Assist with initial fact finding and early-stage sales process and participate in Sales calls.
* Work on client instructions and fact find to design and build proposals & quotations.
* Create simple designs and assist on complex solutions.* Maintain detailed and up-to-date client contact records within the CRM.
* Support the sales, business development and marketing team in relevant activities.
* Work with Sales lead to develop service expansion with current and new clients.
* Support the Sales Team to help achieve sales & market share growth in line with business plans and budgets.
* Research potentialbusiness opportunities, industry trends and developments

Knowledge and Experience
* You must be an excellent verbal and written communicator with an ability to learn, understand, explain and articulate complex processes and information at all levels.
*Knowledge of IT & Networking technology or similar technical or services-based company.
* Some general business acumen and customer management skills.
* Experience within a similar IT service, structured cabling, managed services, data centre company would be highly desirable.
* Flexibility with a strong work ethic
* Full UK driving licence
Technical Skills* Need to be fully conversant with MS Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
* Adaptable and natural at picking up and utilising new technologies.
* Pipeline and CRM management tools.
* Quoting tool management.
