My client is a successful and growing company based in Hampshire. They specialise in global procurement, international trade and supply chain management. They are constantly in communication with customers based in Africa, the Middle East, Asiaand South America who are involved in Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Agriculture and the United Nations.

Due to their continued success and expansion plans for this year, they have an exciting new roles for a full-time Procurement Account Managerto join their International Procurement Team - an immediate start for the right people! The successful candidate will have the ability to carry out the below responsibilities (training will also be provided). The

Role: -

* Building and maintain strong relationships with Key Clients
* Responsible for increasing sales and revenue of existing Key Client Accounts
* Sourcingand buying a wide range of products and equipment from local and international suppliers such as electrical parts, welding equipment, machine parts, vehicles and parts, safety equipment, forklifts, cabling, IT equipment.
* Negotiating with suppliers onthe phone and email to obtain best prices wherever possible
* Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relationships
* Offering competitive quotes to client's for the equipment requested, maximising profits
* Providing customers witha consistently high level of service in line with SLA's
* Reacting to client enquiries quickly and efficiently, producing quotes and converting to orders
* Providing swift and viable procurement/supply solutions to customers
* Consistently achieving personal sales targets and KPI's

Skills Required: -

* Strong negotiation, customer service and sales ability
* Confident and clear communication skills (English is essential)
* Highly organized with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Positive attitude and be able work well within a team or individually
* Ability to work under pressure and think your feet
* Proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPI's
* Strong business acumen
* Working experience using Microsoft Office ie Word, Excel and Outlook (essential)
