A BRAND NEW opportunity with one of the leading software provider are now looking for a Regional Sales Director to join their expanding portfolio focusing on selling their productto new prospects and customers.
Regional Sales Director
Our client is seeking a highly motivated, energetic individual tojoin the company's sales team as a Regional Sales Director, you will be reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. You will have direct responsibility for closing new business, expanding existing customer deployments and engaging with channel partners. You must have experience selling emerging technologies over extended sales cycles. The role will expect you to excel at finding and closing new business while also expanding existing relationships through growth in existing accounts and having a strongproblem solving, consultative sales approach. If you are a self-starter, highly motivated and capable of being a high-achiever whilst working independently this is the role for you! It will test your hunting, farming and channel engagement skills day in day out.
Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Director
* Developing and managing a territory while meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets
* Prospecting for new business through direct customer engangement.
* Proactively drive business development activities to generate a consistent funnel of opportunities
* Working with partners to increase their product knowledge and build identification and development opportunities.
* Take ownership, develop and progress any personal leads created,including any leads provided by the business.
* Carrying out all aspects of the sale cycle including pricing negotiations, Contract development and ensuring succesful order fulfilment.
* Building long lasting relationships directly with Microsoft, Nerdio, VMware and Citrix along with other key ecosystem players to build pipeline and co-sell with these partners.
* Leveraging and maximizing network partners, alliances, and system integrators as an integral component of the fulfilment channel.
Regional Sales Director Requirements
* 7+ years prior technology sales experience with a successful track record of above-quota sales performance.
* Strong knowledge of solution selling techniques and processes.
* Ability to travel when required.
* Successful track record in sales-driven environments.
* Experience in End user Computing, Desktop Virtualization and Desktop management solutions strongly desired.
