Description:
Responsibilities
* Lead the identification, development, progression and closing of sales/growth opportunities for a defined group of customers.
* Evaluate, understand, and represent the customer requirements in the development and presentation of service solutions that optimise the companies commercial position (collaborating with the specialist modality team, the bid managers, and operations team as appropriate).
* Lead on the development of proposals for cross selling of services, contract extensions and renewals for the defined customer group.
* Innovate and deliver the business' offerings that meet the changing requirements within the customer base.
* Lead contract variation processes including preparation of all internal and customer facing documents.
* Provide informed commercial contracts management function across the companies services and modalities including;
* managed services (MES),
* maintenance services,
* consumables management services, and
* equipment sales & rentals.
* Support the operations team in service reporting, escalations, and issue resolution as required.
* Support the accounts receivable function as required
Resources/decision making authority
* Member of the Business Development Boardto agree whether resources should be allocated to individual sales opportunities.
* Signatory on the sign-off customer-facingbids, variation proposals, and quotations as per quality management system.
Key accountabilities
* Meet customer growthand retention targets set for each financial year.
* Build and lead customer level growth strategies across the business' products and modalities.
* Develop and deliver customer specific plans in collaboration with business development and operations teams that lead to the achievement of revenue targets.
* Provide leadership for development of cross selling or variation proposals, formal quotations, and variations to existing customer contracts - both written and financial
* Work to optimise the profitability of new contracts, contract variations, renewals and extensions.
* Maintain accurate records of all growth opportunities, contract variations and related activities. Data stewardship for the defined territory or customer group
* Build and maintain an understanding of the contractual obligations for each of the allocated customers and provide guidance to the operational and finance teams.
* Support customer business case development to ensure variation opportunities can be executed quickly.* Gathering, analysing, and distributing market, customer, and competitor information
* Support the business development andoperations teams in the commercial close, implementation, and go-live of new services and variations through to the formal handover to business-as-usual.
Performance indicators
* Meeting the target for growth in revenues for the allocated customer group or territory
* Sales/opportunity pipeline development with forecasting of new business including maintaining accurate records within CRM.
* Foster and lead in collaborative working with new business, operations, and finance teams.
* Protect andgrow contract profitability.
* Maintenance of complete contract variation documentation.
* Customer business case development in support of contract variations
* Continuous improvement of processes, products, and services
* Customer satisfaction and improvement plans
Skills and Experience
* Demonstrable track record of success within healthcare solutions selling
*5 years of customer-facing account management roles within health economy
* Preparation and delivery of complex bid responses* Solutions selling.
* Commercial and contracting expertise
* Excellent written communication skills
* Business case development support
* Customer-facing and internal stakeholder presentation
