This US owned Fintech company has growth from strength to strength (even in times of Covid), in fact they hired over 200+ employees in 2021 alone to cope with continued demand so it's a great time to join them.
This business operates in over 140+ countries and has offices in 7 global locations including London and the US
This company has created a market leading technology and its also revolutionised payments & payroll for multi-national organisations. Its technology standardises an otherwise complicated process, and its unique analytical toolset enables its clients to turn payments data into meaningful business insights to help more effectively manage its employees and drive down operating costs.
This business works mainly with global enterprise clients, average deal sizes are $400K upwards and in 2021 they had recurring revenue of $50M+ and growing (likely to be $80M in 2022).
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer the Sales Director will be instrumental inhelping continue the success of the business whilst also driving it to the very next level.
Lastly there are some great things happening in the background of this business in that they will be looking to drive a new business vertical (which no one in the world is doing !) and early signs show that its already outperforming the companies main core offering and its also twice at profitable.
Sales Director Main Duties:
This exciting role is critical to the future growth of the organisation. We are seeking a high energy, experienced leader who can create and motivate a team to deliver strong results in a high-growth environment.
This role is critical to delivering on its revenue growth goals. The primary purpose of this role is to lead and drive excellent results through a sales team of Treasury Experts and Account Development managers and in so doing, create the blueprint for success in these two burgeoning areas of the business.
More specifically, the incumbent will
* Work with sales managersto create and execute against sales strategies to meet the business' ambitious goals
* Nurture a strong team culture to become a high performance team, amongst a geographically distributed team (US + EMEA)
* Operate as part of the Sales and AlliancesLeadership team, building strong collaboration with other team members to contribute to the team's shared goals
* Build andleverage strong relationships across the entire business, particularly key partners in Marketing, Treasury Services, and AccountManagement, to build a strong working rhythm and highly collaborative relationship
* Work with the sales team to raise prospects' and customers' level of awareness of and increase the demand for the business Treasury Solutions through a highly consultative, solutions-oriented sales process.
* Work with the Account Management team and customers to broaden company revenue footprint amongst existing customers
* Drive a sales plan with strategies and tactics to achieve individual and collective salesobjectives.
* Actively utilise the CRM for effective activity, pipeline and team management, with the ability to give executive team insights the health of the business, and identify strategies to improve and accelerate
* Establish, monitor and adjust the appropriate activity metrics for the sales team to consistently drive to sales targets.
* Create the annual and three year sales forecast and present to leadership, including outside Board members.
* Identify development opportunities for theirteam and work with the L&D function to close these gaps through training
* Establish best practices for the sales organisation and deliver their implementation.
* Motivate employees to reach high levels of performance by establishing the right mix of objectives, coaching, training and leadership.
* Represent the business to customers, prospects and within the industry.
* Develop and maintain relationships with partners and channels that lead to increased sales.
Attributes and ExperienceRequired:
* Experience building and developing a successful technology or services sales or account sales organisation
* Experience in selling six figure deals in SaaS, enterprise software or technology enabled business services to global organisation in excess of $100M in revenues
* Knowledge of payroll, payments and treasury services, or some combination of these will bea strong advantage to the position
* Selling Human Capital software and solutions, especially payroll would be highly advantageous, but not required
* Must have success selling through a complex and lengthy sales cycle, with multiple influencers anddecision-makers
* Strong leadership capabilities with proven expertise in motivating and developing teams to deliver their best
* Excellent planning skills and ability to implement successful sales strategies
* Solid sales training background andproven discipline to establish and track the sales process
* Strong network of financial and human resources executives a plus
* Experience building channel relationships
* Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
* Abilityto work in a collaborative environment
* Ability to remain focused in a rapidly changing environment and to be comfortable with ambiguity
* Results oriented team player

* Minimum Bachelor's degree
