Description:
Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for the development and selling of services within the Biomedical modality.
* Understand customer requirements and deliver solutions at the sales and tender stages that optimise the companies competitive position and win rate.
* Innovate, develop and deliver new service offerings that meet the changing requirements of the customer.
* Ensure the business development team is appropriately trained within the Biomedical services modality.
* Support the operational teams in the continuous development of appropriate quality standards within modality
* Support the handover of new services to the operational teams
* Resources/decision making authority
* Contributor to the Business Development Board/New Business Board to agree whether resources should be allocated to individual sales opportunities.
* Signatory sign-off of relevant customer-facing proposals and formal bids and quotations as per quality management system and bid process.
Key Accountabilities
* Annual revenues target for the biomed services modality
* Develop and deliver modality-specific sales and marketing strategy documents that target the achievement of revenue targets.
* Provide technical modality support to Sales Account Managers across the business' biomedical services including managed services, maintenance, equipment sales and rentals.
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of modality-specific products and service offerings including competitor analysis- gathering, analysing and distributing market and competitor information.
* Provide clinical, technical and commercial support and insight to the bid team including development of sales proposals, formal bids and quotations, and variations to existing customer contracts - both written and financial.
* Develop and deliver ongoing sales training programme to ensure understandingof sales approach together with changes and developments within the modality
* Support the commercial close, implementation,and go-live of new contracts and services.
Performance indicators
* Achieved annual revenue target for the Biomed services modality
* Comprehensive sales and bid support within modality as well as specific clinical/modality engagement.
* Developed modality level business plan production and update.
* Trained Business Development workforce within clinical modality.
*Bid and quotation success rates.
* Continuous improvement of service offerings
* Collaborative working with the operations team
Skills and Experience
* Demonstrable track record of success within healthcare solutions selling
* 5 years of customer-facing account or management roles within health economy
* Preparation and delivery of complex bid responses
* Solutionsselling.
* Commercial and contracting expertise
* Excellent written communication skills
* Business case development
*Customer-facing and internal stakeholder presentation
