Description:

Responsibilities

* Lead the Sales Account Management team providing support, coaching, internal representation, and line management.
* Ensure that the collection and presentation of sales performance data is kept up-to date and reporting deadlines are met.
* Lead the identification, development, progression and closing of sales/growth opportunitiesfor a defined group of key private sector customers.
* Evaluate, understand, and represent the customer requirements in the development and presentation of service solutions that optimise the business' commercial position (collaborating with the specialist modality team, the bid managers, and operations team as appropriate).
* Lead on the development of proposals for cross selling of services, contract extensions and renewals for the defined group of key private customers.
* Innovate and deliver company offerings that meet the changing requirements within the whole customer base.
* Provide informed commercial/sales support across thebusiness' services andmodalities including.

* managed services (MES),
* maintenance services,
* consumables management services, and
* equipment sales & rentals.

* Support the operations team in service reporting, escalations, and issue resolution as required.

Resources/decision making authority

* Member of the Business Development team agreeing whether resources should be allocated to individual sales opportunities.
* Signatory on the sign-off customer-facing bids, variation proposals, and quotations as per quality management system.

Key accountabilities

* Lead and develop the capabilities of the Sales Account Management team
* Meet customer growth and retention targets set for each financial year
* Build andlead customer growth strategies across business' products and modalities.
* Develop and deliver customer specific plans in collaboration with business development and operations teams that lead to the achievement of revenue targets.
* Provide leadership for development of cross selling or variation proposals, formal quotations, and variations to existing customer contracts - both written and financial

* Work to optimise the profitability of new contracts, contract variations, renewals, and extensions.

* Maintain accurate records of all growth opportunities and related activities. Data stewardship for defined private healthcare providers and the Sales Account Management team.
* Gathering, analysing, and distributing market, customer, and competitor information
* Support the business development and operations teams in the commercial close, implementation, and go-live of new services and variations through to the formal handover to business-as-usual.

Performance indicators

* Maintaining sales team performance and levels of satisfaction through regular appraisal and coaching of the Sales Account Managers.
* Meeting the target for growth in revenues for the allocated customer group or territory
* Sales/opportunity pipeline development with forecasting of new business including maintaining accurate records within CRM.
* Foster and lead in collaborative working with new business, operations, and finance teams.
* Protect and grow contract profitability.
* Maintenance of complete contract variation documentation.
* Customer business case development in support of contract variations
* Continuous improvementof processes, products and services
* Customer satisfaction and improvement plans

Capability profile
Qualifications

*Healthcare professional qualification
* Degree-level

Skills and Experience

* Demonstrable track record of success within healthcare solutions selling
* 5 years of customer-facing /sales management roles within health economy
* Preparation and delivery of complex bid responses
* Solutions selling.
* Commercial and contracting expertise
* Excellent written communication skills
* Business case development support
* Customer-facing and internal stakeholder presentation
