WorkWales are delighted to be working with an industry leader in Forensics. The client are specialists uncovering digital evidenceand that work meets the highest industry standards.
You will be at the cutting edge of the capture, preservation, processingand analysis of data. The company works with a wide range of systems for a large and diverse client base. You will be using theleading forensic tools and producing complete reports of findings and presenting in Court when required. You will be expected towork in conjunction with our ISO 17025 standards and working alongside our technical procedures and quality management system.Responsibilities:
* Conduct forensic analysis on digital evidence, including computers, mobile devices, and other electronic media.
* Extract, analyse and present data from a wide range of PC, Digital & IT systems.
* Utilise forensic tools and techniques to extract and analyse data from various sources.
* Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and legal professionals as needed.
* Stay up to date with the latest forensic tools, techniques, and trends.
* Produce comprehensive reports to demonstrate findings and analysis.
* Attend Court to present findings and conclusions under cross-examination.
* Support in training and development within the team.
* Always keep attention to data security and integrity.
* Respond to technical queries as required and aid clients.
* Represent the company at events.
Requirements:
* A First- or Second-Class honours degree in a relevant field.
* Proven experience in digital forensics or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and operating systems.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* An aptitude for dealing with digital information in a range of formats.
* Strong verbaland written communication skills.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Knowledge and practical experience of forensic laboratorypractices and procedures.
* Experience in the analysis of data and of digital forensics within the criminal justice system.* Experience of working with ISO 17025 is desirable.
