AssistantQS - Immediate Start - Ealing
MCG Construction are recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in Ealing to assist the Lead Surveyor on maintenance contracts. The suitable candidate will be degree qualified and have social housing experience.Duties will include but are limited to the below:
Ensuring all applications are submitted in line with the contractual termsEnsuring sub-contractor payments are made on time
Assisting the SQS with their day to day duties
Monitoring all applications submitted and ensure any works rejected are tracked and reissued when appropriate
Pricing all jobs by their appropriate revenue code to ensure that they are billed correctly
To produce and agree a monthly application
Monitoring all costs and assist in the managing of these costs to ensure profitability is maintained.
Requirements:
Degree qualified
Social Housing Experience
Experience Surveying, Pricing and Validating Subcontractor Quotations
Experience Measuring Works, Generating and Agreeing applications
Negotiation Skills
