We are recruiting for a leading construction consultancylooking to add a Associate Director (Mechanical) to their team!
Job Title - Associate Director (Mechanical)
Area/Location - Manchester OR East Grinstead
Type of Job - Permanent
Start Date - As Soon As Possible
Salary - £60 000 (depending on experience)
Purpose of the Role-
The role shall involve providing technical and management leadership on projects from a building services perspective. The individual will be capable of creating and running an effective projectteam on large scale projects. Delivering projects with effective use of resources relative to fee with maximum profitability, whilst also maintaining a high level of technical quality and professionalism.
As a senior role within the team it is expectedthat the individual will be client facing and work winning - performing support roles within Multi-D and MEP bids alike.
Therole will also be required to review staff performance within your group, implement training, QA and maintain Health and Safety.A Few Key Responsibilities of the Role-
* Specific commercial management duties on projects - fee and resource management.
* Assisting with CAD resource requirements
* Capable of carrying out all levels of RIBA design to BSRIA recogniseddetail
* Production of tender documents, supporting the procurement process and project team through the tender period.
* Quality assurance tasks during RIBA Stages 5 and 6, incl. site snagging and witness testing.
* Liaise with the design team to co-ordinate designs.
* Maintain and nurture good client and design team relationships to achieve high levels of satisfaction andrepeat business.
* Assist Team Director with identifying and implementing personal training/CPD requirements.
* Help develop and maintain good working practices within the company.
* Implement and manage QA systems and procedures on all projects.* Implement requirements for ISO9001, ISO14001 and Investors in People.
