Job Title: Street Lighting Supervisor

Salary: 37k - 40k plus Company vehicle
MCG Construction has a new opportunity for a qualified Street Lighting Supervisor for a major Street Lighting contract in Oxford.
The role:
* To supervise the installation of street lighting, signs and associated street furniture.
* To carry out visual inspection of installations to ensure that the quality of work is of required standard.
* To arrange inspections by the client.
* To ensure that any faults noted by the client are rectified immediately and re-inspection arranged.
* To ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete and fully accounted for.
* To supervise theworks completion process in order to identify and report recoverable income; to ensure completion and closing down of job packs.* To contribute to the monthly invoicing process for the relevant areas of responsibility.
* To meet key performance indicators set out within budget profile and customer requirements.
* To update works programme and record slippage.
* To champion Health & Safety at all times.
The person:
* Must have previous operational experience in street lighting.
* Abilityto manage and instruct operatives.
* Sound knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
* Excellent communication skills.* Good understanding of Commercial / Finance side of the business.
* Willing to assist with manual work when needed.
* IT literate.
* SMSTS and NRSWA qualifications are desirable.
