Reporting to the Business Director the CD will play a pivotal role in all aspects of the commercial business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic commercial plans and building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. The CD will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure the seamless execution of sales initiatives and the delivery of exceptional customer service.Commercial Director
* Lead, Manage and Motivate the External & Internal Sales team to ensure full engagement while developing each team member for progression within their own career
* Supporting the key functions of:Prospecting & Lead Generation, Negotiation & Closing, Building Customer Relationships, Market Research and Analysis, Sales Reporting and Forecasting, Collaboration & Teamwork, Customer Service and Support, Reporting Structure
* Provide customers with the support and engagement needed to ensure continuity of service while providing the coverage needed to support market position and share.
* Working with the team to support customers, manage customer needs and enhance customer value through Margin Analysis, Volume Analysis, Customer Classification Modelling, Account Budgeting & Forecasting
* Ensure that the business has the controls, reports, insights, analysis, and strategies needed to deliver both objectives and budgets.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Commercial Director, Business Development Director, or in a similar senior commercial role.
* Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
* Demonstrated track record of achieving business objectives.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Experience with contract negotiation and management
